Usain Bolt got to grips with his girlfriend during his birthday celebrations this week. The retired Olympic sprinter has flown out to Mykonos, Greece, to mark his 31st birthday with friends, but he only has eyes – and hands – for his number one lady, Kasi Bennett.

In honour of Bolt turning 31 on 21 August, Bennett posted a sweet tribute to her famous boyfriend on Instagram. The romantic image shows Bolt facing the camera with his hand resting on Bennett's bum as she faces away with her right hand on his chest.

Gushing over the iconic sports star, Bennett wrote in the caption: "The Legend. Happiest of birthdays to the most humble, selfless, hardworking and motivating person I know. Every single day I feel like the luckiest woman to have you in my life. You are nothing short of amazing. I love you baby, and remember... EVERY DAY WE LIT."

Bolt has also documented the sunny holiday on his Instagram account and, in one short video, is seen being showered with several bottles of champagne with friends dousing him as he runs around topless. Next to the celebratory clip, Bolt told his 7.6 million followers: "What time to be alive #BirthdayVibe #blessed ##GiveThanks."

Posing with a male friend in another photo, Bolt added: "We stay chilling on vacation cause that's how we roll. Just know we didn't come here to make everybody happy. #ATEAM #vacation#bigdealbusiness."

Bolt and Bennett, 26, are believed to have been dating for at least three years with the Jamaican athlete confirming their relationship in July 2016. Speaking to The Telegraph, Bolt said: "But I'm not going to tell you who she is, I want to keep it small for now, because I know when it gets out there's going to be a lot of things to say, and I told her she can't handle it. Because I've been through the media. I understand how you guys are – especially the British media."

Going public three months prior to the interview, Bolt shared a photo with Bennett describing themselves as "president and first lady". Bennett, reportedly based in Jamaica, is a career woman in her own right as managing director of marketing company 88Elevate and founder of non-profit organisation Project Kase.

Bolt will have more time on his hands to indulge in champagne and luxury holidays as the world's fastest man is officially retired after competing in the World Athletics Championships in London earlier in August. However, the gold medallist could return to the world of sports after revealing his intentions to pursue a football career.
